Jungle Beach by UGA Escapes

Tucked within a secluded 10-acre reserve, Jungle Beach by Uga Escapes stretches along 4km of private beach, tropical mangroves and dense jungle, Frangipani flowers afloat in the entrance symbolize the number of guests currently in residence and sharing the jungle.

Accommodation

Lagoon Cabins

With a garden or lagoon facing view, each Lagoon Cabin is furnished with a large king size bed or twin beds. Sun chairs or balcony dining furnishings, a fully stocked mini bar, 32″ LCD TV and an iPod docking station is available in all categories.

Jungle Cabins

Crafted from indigenous material and designed to remain open to spectacular views of the jungle, the Jungle Cabins are tucked deep within, offering the utmost in privacy and seclusion. These 650 sq ft cabins are fitted with king sized beds, outdoor rain showers and a private deck perfect for a little spotting of the abundant bird life, giant squirrels, dragonflies, monkeys and butterflies that roam the resort.

Beach Cabins

Beach Cabins offer private walkways to the seashore and contemporary Sri Lankan interior design of wooden floors, vaulted ceiling, thatched Iluk leaf roofs, organic cotton furnishings and indigenous artefacts. Each Beach Cabin has been designed to welcome nature indoors with private terraces for daytime reading and bird watching or quite evening drinks with in-cabin dinner.

Jungle Clusters

The Jungle Clusters have been designed with family and friends in mind, offering a private haven for daytime lounging and night time Jacuzzis.

Located in the quiet coastal village of Kuchchaveli on the Eastern seaboard of Sri Lanka, Jungle Beach by Uga Escapes was the first resort development of its kind in the area, opening opportunities to the local community by training the youth, raising employment and lifestyle levels.

Uga Bay by UGA Escapes

Uga Bay by Uga Escapes fuses tropical and Mediterranean architecture to create a stunning centrepiece in the beautiful bay of Pasikudah. The semi-circular design ensures captivating garden or ocean views from all 46 studios, Bay Suite and Beach Villa. From the entrance, the infinity pool looks to spectacularly blend in to the sea.

Studios

All Studios, Suites and Villas offer unparalleled views of the lush palm fringed garden of Uga Bay overlooking the Ocean. 22 Ocean Studios have heightened views from the second storey, 24 beach Studios offer direct beach access from the ground floor, and there is a two-bedroom Bay Suite and a two-bedroom Beach Villa.

Location

Located in the East of Sri Lanka in the Batticaloa district, on Pasikudah, Uga Bay by Uga Escapes offers stunning views of the beach and bay. Approximately 280km from the Bandaranayake International Airport, local airlines fly daily and arrive in less than an hour or take the scenic route via helicopter, seaplane or by road.
